Customer’s Background:
Chris is working as an engineer in a logistic company, he lives in Australia. The company required one mezzanine goods lift for its customer. Chris was assigned to buy the lift, and he chose XYZLIFT. Chris shared the basic requirements of the client, they required a lift that could hold up to 1000kg of load and the height of the goods lift should be 4800mm. The size of the platform must be 1350*2550mm with one side door open. Additionally, an automatic rolling door should be installed. The instructions were very clear to start with.
Design and Installation
The mezzanine floor lift is designed quite efficiently so that the client would get as much use out of it as possible. The door has a property that when it is on the floor level, the door automatically opens. The mezzanine goods lift stops working as soon as the door opens. An overload warning, so if the load exceeds the limit, a warning is given out. We have utilized Schneider’s electric parts that are stable and highly reliable.
The client requested to reduce the installation work. We did all the welding of the mesh cover before the actual installation. Almost 80% of the installation task was performed before the shipment.
Client’s Concerns:
The client’s team installed the roller door of the mezzanine floor lift at the wrong position, which caused issues. Another concern was that they were not aware of the functionality of the door limited switch.
We resolved the concern by sending them a video on how to fix these things. Their problems were solved. We have decided with Chris that the next time, we will go the extra mile and test the roller doors in the factory before shipping.
