Customized 19m boom lift
On February 1, 2025, we received an inquiry from Mr. Thomas from the Netherlands
Thomas said: “My lift is too old, and I have to find a new one to replace it.
But I am very worried about whether the new equipment can be delivered smoothly, and it must meet CE certification standards to ensure compliance with EU regulations.
In addition, the width of my work site is only 4.5 meters, while the general outrigger width on the market is 6.5 meters. I need a customized solution.”
Through conversation, we summarized the customer’s needs as follows:
1. Height requirement: The 18-meter platform is too low to meet the operation requirements; the price of the 20-meter platform is beyond the budget.
2. Budget limitation: The price of the 20-meter equipment is nearly $10,000 more than the budget.

Solution
Balance between height and budget
We provided the customer with a quote for equipment with an 18-meter working height (operating height of 20 meters), but the customer said that the height was not enough and hoped to reach 20 meters. Subsequently, we provided a 20-meter solution, but the customer said that the price was beyond the budget.
To solve this problem, we immediately communicated with the technical team.
After calculation, we found that the height of 19 meters can meet the customer’s needs and fit the customer’s budget. In the end, we recommended equipment with a working height of 19 meters.
The customer was satisfied with the price and decided to buy it.
New Problems
The customer then had a new problem: the outriggers of a conventional trailer folding arm have an unfolded width of 6.5 meters, while the work site is only 4.5 meters wide, and the standard outrigger design could not meet the requirements.
As a professional manufacturer of customized equipment, we quickly provided a solution. Conventional leg adjustment may affect the center of gravity of the equipment and increase the risk of tipping. To this end, we made the following technical improvements:
1. The four-fold arm design: makes the equipment more compact and flexible after folding, and the center of gravity is closer to the center, without the risk of rollover
2. Drawing on the structure of the boom truck,:the flexibility of the telescopic arm is enhanced, and the stability of the equipment is improved.
3. Guarantee of CE certification
The customer was concerned about whether the customized adjustments would affect the CE certification. We immediately contacted the relevant agency and reapplied for a compliant CE certification based on the type of this machine.
