Two hotel passenger elevator in Maldives
In June 2025, the client traveled all the way from Guangdong to our factory to inspect our dumbwaiters and Commercial home elevator , and purchased one dumbwaiter on the spot.
During our communication, the client informed us that they were constructing two brand-new resort hotels in the Maldives, which required two complete commercial passenger elevators for supporting facilities. The client used to buy elevators from well-known local brands in the Maldives. However, such local products come with exorbitant prices and many restrictions on supporting services. For this reason, they intended to switch to Chinese manufacturers for procurement. Nevertheless, they had major concerns over a series of issues including overseas on-site installation guidance, after-sales maintenance and cross-border construction coordination.
To fully resolve the client’s worries, we clearly promised to provide a full set of professional installation technical support, including detailed installation drawings, remote video guidance and on-site service by dispatched engineers, which greatly boosted the client’s willingness to cooperate with us.
At that time, we only reached a preliminary verbal agreement. The whole project was held up by continuous delays of civil construction work at the hotel site. More than eight months later, the client sent us an official notice in February 2026, confirming that the civil construction of both elevator shafts had been fully completed with compliant dimensions. They officially initiated the elevator procurement procedure and meanwhile submitted complete technical parameters of the elevator shafts for the two hotels for our design calculation and quotation preparation.

Both elevators are designed for passenger transport in high-end hotels. The complete units are built in strict accordance with commercial elevator structural standards and equipped with a full range of exclusive commercial functions.
For public hotel operation, we have added a mandatory core safety device — the 5-party emergency intercom system, which is an essential safety configuration for all commercial passenger lifts.
