John owns a three-story seaside villa in the Philippines that he uses as a hotel to accommodate tourists from around the world. He wanted to install an outdoor home elevator to make it easier for guests to move around the villa and carry their luggage.
Client Request & Our Solution:
John had specific requirements for the elevator, including an all-white design and a background image of a sea view that he had personally taken. We provided a design that met John’s requirements. For the outdoor villa elevator, we used thick, rust-resistant aluminum alloy frame and thick laminated glass of 5+0.75+5mm. This type of elevator is more suitable for complex outdoor weather conditions. The pump station and electrical control box were placed in the indoor storage room, which does not occupy external space and is more aesthetically pleasing.
John was concerned that the elevator would get stuck in mid-air during a power outage. However, this was not a problem as our elevator is equipped with a backup power supply that can provide power to the ground floor during a power outage. In addition, our elevator has a manual lowering function that allows the car to be lowered to the ground by rotating a manual lowering valve.
