We received an inquiry for a home elevator from Sydney.
The client wanted to install an elevator in his house in Sydney, Australia. He opted for a traction gantry elevator installed in a concrete shaft. Our agent in Sydney visited the client’s site to conduct measurements and analysis. The installation dimensions were 1700*1600mm, for three floors, with floor heights of 3430mm and 2900mm respectively.

Because Australia has restrictions on door opening width, requiring 800-900mm, a center-opening door would require over 2000mm of shaft space. Therefore, we recommend a side-opening door.
