Customer Background:
Last December, we received an inquiry from our returning Singaporean customer, Mr. Pang. He had previously purchased a home lift from us and held a positive impression of our products and services.
Now, he was looking for two underground car garage elevator needs at his property. We were very pleased to receive his inquiry and looked forward to working with him again.
Precise Needs Communication: Starting with On-Site Measurement Guidance
Initially, Mr. Pang was unsure about which specific dimensions needed to be measured on site. To help him obtain accurate data, we clearly marked all key measurement points on the 3D diagram below and sent it to him for reference, enabling him to complete the on-site measurements more conveniently and accurately.
After our guidance, Mr. Pang sent us the completed on-site measurements (as shown below).
Project 1:
-Lifting height: 3300mm
-Shaft size: 2780mmW×5450mmD
Project 2:
-Lifting height: 3350mm
-Shaft size: 2780mmW×5350mmD
Core Value: Comprehensive Safety Solutions to Address the Customer's Greatest Concern
For such large-scale equipment used for lifting vehicles, Mr. Pang placed particular emphasis on safety. To address this, we provided a comprehensive package of safety features that completely eliminated his concerns:
Lower Platform With Light Curtain:
Installed at the entrance of the lower platform. If the car is not parked in the correct position, the machine cannot operate, ensuring the vehicle is properly positioned.
Electric Toe Guard:
Installed around the bottom electric toe guard of the platform. During descent, if an obstacle touches the safety edge, the lift will stop immediately, preventing entrapment of people or objects.
Upper Platform Light Curtain Sensor:
Through infrared light curtain sensing, if there is a car or other obstacle on the upper platform, the machine cannot operate, effectively preventing accidental startup when a vehicle is on the upper platform.
Mr. Pang was very satisfied with this safety solution we provided.
Overcoming Challenges: Innovative Design Under No-Pit Conditions
However, another challenging issue arose on site: Mr. Pang informed us that excavating a pit was not possible at his location.
In response to this special situation, we quickly discussed with our technical team and decided to design the equipment’s closed height (the minimum height of the unit) to be as low as 550mm. At the same time, we provided a ramp with a maximum height of 550mm at the equipment entrance to allow cars to drive onto the platform smoothly.
This solution successfully solved the no-pit installation problem, ensuring the project’s feasibility and convenience.
Rigorous Pre-Delivery Testing: Ensuring Quality Upon Delivery
To ensure the equipment would operate safely and stably after arriving in Singapore, we completed the following key tests before shipment:
