Project Background
On January 19, 2026, we received an inquiry from Google for 3 units of Vertical Dock Levelers. The client’s existing equipment was damaged and needed to be replaced as soon as possible to keep loading and unloading operations running smoothly.
After receiving the inquiry, the XYZLIFT team quickly contacted the client to learn more about the site conditions and project requirements. Based on the information provided, we prepared a complete solution, including technical drawings, product specifications, and a quotation.
The existing pit size was 1180 × 2120 × 250 mm (L × W × D), and each dock leveler required a load capacity of about 6 tons. According to the site conditions, we provided a customized solution with the following main specifications:
- Platform size: 1000 × 2060 mm
- Travel height: 90°
- Load capacity: 6000 kg
- Stowed height: 250 mm
- Pit size: 1180 mm (L) × 2120 mm (W) × 250 mm (H).
Project Challenge
The client requested that the hydraulic power unit be installed outside the pit. This required a longer hydraulic hose. At the same time, we needed to make sure that the oil return speed would not affect the lifting speed of the dock leveler.
After technical evaluation, we adopted a check valve solution and increased the inner diameter of the hydraulic hose to more than 13 mm. The nut specification was 30×1.5. This solution successfully solved the problem and ensured smooth and stable operation.
