Customer Background:
Michael is a long-term client of XYZLIFT in Peru. Last year, he purchased and installed a stationary scissor car lift for one of his customers. This year, we received new inquiry from him. He is looking for a 14-meter-high hydraulic lift for another customer. Initially, we proposed a four-post car lift solution to Michael. However, due to speed limitations, after discussions with his client, Michael requested us to provide a solution for a goods lift for car.
Customer Requirements:
1. No protective mesh design for the platform guardrails.
2. Add LED light strips on top of the guardrails.Control panels on both sides of the platform guardrails.
3. Anti-fall device under the platform.
4. Pit depth of 1000mm. The platform does not need to fully descend to the bottom of the pit, and the power unit must be placed inside the pit.
5. Custom rolling shutter door.
XYZ Solution:
1. As the customer requested guardrails without a protective mesh design, we adopted a perforated plate style.
2. We provided slots on top of the guardrails to secure the LED light strips, preventing them from falling off easily.
3. Customized control panels as specified by the customer. These panels include floor display, floor selection buttons, rolling shutter door control buttons, an emergency call function, and an intercom system.
4. Since this lift is used for vehicles and has a large platform, slight sinking may occur after reaching the designated floor. Therefore, we recommended the customer to add an anti-fall device. Once the platform reaches the designated floor, the anti-fall device underneath will engage with the guide rails to prevent platform sinking.
5. As the power unit must be placed in the 1000mm-deep pit, and the lift platform itself is 300mm thick, the height of the power unit must be less than 700mm. To meet this requirement, the XYZ team customized a horizontal motor, confirming it can fit under the platform.
5. The customer selected several uncommon colors for the rolling shutter door, requiring special customization. The XYZ team contacted a custom rolling shutter door manufacturer to produce the desired style for the customer.
